Job Summary:
We are looking for a Legal professional with a passion for cybersecurity to join our team. The role involves overseeing legal aspects related to contract law, regulatory compliance, and risk management within the dynamic field of information security. You will be responsible for ensuring the company’s operations adhere to legal standards while supporting the company’s mission to provide cutting-edge security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts including client agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and partnership contracts.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly in data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity laws.
Provide legal counsel on potential risks and mitigation strategies for the company’s operations and business transactions.
Handle and manage litigation processes and dispute resolution related to cybersecurity incidents, intellectual property rights, and compliance breaches.
Conduct legal research to ensure the company is up-to-date with legal developments in the cybersecurity field.
Collaborate with internal teams (technical, compliance, and management) to support legal needs related to product development, service offerings, and business growth.
Assist with compliance efforts regarding data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, PDPA) and other industry regulations.
Ensure precision in the review and enforcement of contracts and legal documentation, ensuring clarity and protecting the company from liability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Law
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in legal practice, with a focus on contract law, litigation, or regulatory compliance.
Understanding of legal procedures, statutes, and regulations, particularly in cybersecurity, data protection, and privacy.
Proficiency in legal research, drafting legal documents, and negotiating contracts.
Strong attention to detail in reviewing legal documents and ensuring compliance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with cybersecurity, data privacy, and IT compliance laws
Previous experience working in the technology or cybersecurity industry.
Certifications or additional training in data protection, IT law, or cyber risk management.
Ability to handle multi-jurisdictional legal matters.
Experience with intellectual property rights in technology.
